Isabell Gianna Noah and Malika
First met Gianna and her mom who stayed to the end singing, laughing and bonding.
Next came Malika… my amazing poet friend who joined in on all my songs. Her name along with the name Gianna are so musical I made up some songs as they were both there for my “encore”
Then Noah and his mom and another relative came in with the oh so usual stroller attached to a lot of machines. Noah at around 2 years old seem to be mesmerized when he first came in. He was so quiet and I was not sure exactly where to go to “get him on my side”. A couple of animal sounds in “if your happy” and his suggestions during old McDonald brought out an amazing personally, cutest voice and continuous clapping of appreciatIon after every one of my songs. His mom’s videotaping of his involvement turned this hospital stay into a positive family event.
Gianna stopped in after my concert had ended but I will never say I’m done” to a new friend as we continued with my original song “Songs for smiles” and “This little light” as her dad and doctor joined in with the chorus…we met again in the elevator on my way out as they thanked me again for what I do.
Gave everyone a DVD of my concert and encouraged them all to keep singing as it goes a long way to help their little ones.
